Specialty Fuels

The specialty group is focused on supplying customer requirements in a variety of areas of the petroleum barrel. Our area of expertise is concentrated in the cutter stock, light cycle oil, and fuel oil markets. We specialize in assisting clients in inland markets find outlets for their difficult to market commodities. Our excellent logistics team members operate a very extensive rail and barge fleet to move product from the inland markets to the more liquid gulf coast market regions. We gather, blend, and distribute out of tankage in Houston, Texas City, and on the Mississippi River. Our distribution system reaches to Northwest Europe, Asia, and South America.

Most recently, our group has joined forces with several other marketing teams within The Tauber Companies to form a distillate blend group. This group gathers, blends and markets customer specific diesel blendstocks for both export and domestic consumption. Light Cycle Oils, Straight-Run Distillates, and Kerosene are used in our large blending program.

The specialty group also provides liquid petroleum products to marine diesel customers, cutters for bunker blending clients, fuel to power generators, and a wide variety of other fuel applications.
