Today, the company is managed by the second generation of Taubers, who maintain the same business ethics as their father. We pride ourselves on this tradition.

Mr. David W. Tauber

Mr. David Tauber is a 1971 graduate of Texas Christian University, with a BA in Marketing. After graduation, he immediately joined Tauber Oil Company under the direction of O. J. Tauber, Sr.

As one of the two Principals of Tauber Oil Company, David actively directs both the Residual Fuels and Carbon Black Oil Divisions for all domestic and international market development, in addition to the day-to-day operations of Tauber Oil Company, including trading, banking, accounting, administration and risk management. He is a Vice President of Tauber Exploration & Production Company.

David is an Associate Member of the National Petrochemical and Refiners Association and the American Petroleum Institute. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for Meridian Resources, a publicly traded company on the NYMEX, and a member of the Board of Trustees for College of Biblical Studies, the largest minority Biblical College in the United States.

Mr. Richard E. Tauber

Mr. Richard Tauber is a 1979 graduate of Texas Christian University, with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing/Finance. He immediately joined Norwood Chemical Company as a marketer in the chemicals division.

Richard joined Tauber Oil Company in March 1980. As one of the two Principals of Tauber Oil Company, Richard, along with David Tauber, directs and over-sees the day-to-day operations of Tauber Oil Company, including trading, banking, accounting, administration, and risk management.

He is also President of Tauber Exploration & Production Company, a family owned and operated business, consisting of 8 employees, active in ranching, real estate, stocks, and oil & gas.
