Tauber Exploration & Production Co., started by O. J. Tauber, Sr., is a privately-owned corporation located in Houston, Texas. Formerly known as Arthur-Smith Corporation, a subsidiary of Tauber Oil Company, Tauber Exploration & Production Co. became its own entity in 1984 after reorganization.

Active in the petroleum exploration and production business since the early 1970s, Tauber Exploration & Production Co. has enjoyed continuous success developing oil and gas properties within a wide swath of the Gulf Coast and adjacent areas.

Tauber continues to seek companies that have a combination of strong prospects and a desire for reliable partners. Equally, our staff is dedicated to providing a timely response to such opportunities.
