1. Who we are and what these terms cover

This website, www.tauberoil.com (the "Site"), is operated by Tauber Oil Company, 9655 Katy Freeway, Suite 300, Houston, Texas 77024 ("Tauber," "we," "us," or "our"). The Site also includes pages about our affiliated companies: Tauber Petrochemical Co., Tauber Commodities, Interconn Resources, TransOil Marketing, and Tauber Exploration & Production Co. (together, the "Tauber Companies").

These Site Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Site. They are a contract between you and Tauber Oil Company.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

If you use the Site on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" includes that organization.

3. These terms do not replace our commercial terms

The Site describes the businesses of the Tauber Companies for general information only. Nothing on the Site is an offer to buy or sell any product or service, and nothing on the Site creates a contract for the purchase or sale of any commodity, product, or service.

Transactions with any Tauber Company are governed by that company's General Terms and Conditions and by the written agreements between the parties. Those documents are available on our General Terms & Conditions page. If these Terms conflict with a Tauber Company's General Terms and Conditions or a signed agreement, the General Terms and Conditions or signed agreement control for that transaction.

4. Permitted use of the Site

You may view, download, and print pages from the Site for your own lawful, informational, and non-commercial use, provided you keep all copyright and other proprietary notices intact.

You agree not to:

  • copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content, except as allowed above;

  • use any automated tool, including bots, scrapers, or crawlers, to access or collect content from the Site, other than standard search engine indexing;

  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems;

  • interfere with the operation or security of the Site, or introduce viruses or other harmful code;

  • use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of others; or

  • misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us through the Site.

5. Intellectual property

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, page design, and the selection and arrangement of content, are owned by Tauber Oil Company or its affiliates and licensors and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

"Tauber" and the Tauber logo, and the names and logos of the Tauber Companies, are trademarks of Tauber Oil Company or its affiliates. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission. Other names and marks that appear on the Site belong to their respective owners.

Except for the limited permission in Section 4, nothing on the Site grants you any license or right to use any content or mark.

6. Documents available for download

The Site provides certain documents for download, including General Terms and Conditions and, on some pages, forms such as payment or change-of-address forms. These documents are provided for the convenience of parties doing business with the Tauber Companies. The version posted on the Site may be updated from time to time. If you are a contracting party, the version referenced in or attached to your agreement, or otherwise agreed in writing, governs.

7. Information you send us

When you contact us through the Site, by phone, or by email, you agree to provide accurate information. Personal information you submit is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Do not send us confidential or proprietary information through the Site's general contact channels unless we have asked for it under a written confidentiality agreement. Except for personal information covered by the Privacy Policy, any ideas, suggestions, or other material you send us will be treated as non-confidential, and we may use it without obligation to you.

8. Links to other websites

The Site may link to websites operated by third parties, for example a careers or job-application portal. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, or terms. A link does not mean we endorse the linked site. Your use of any third-party site is at your own risk and subject to that site's terms.

9. Accuracy of information

We try to keep the Site accurate and current, but we make no promise that it is. Content may contain errors, may be out of date, or may not apply to your situation. Information about leadership, locations, products, services, and business activities may change without notice. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TAUBER OIL COMPANY, THE TAUBER COMPANIES, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

THIS SECTION APPLIES TO USE OF THE SITE ONLY. IT DOES NOT LIMIT OR MODIFY ANY LIABILITY PROVISIONS IN A TAUBER COMPANY'S GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OR IN A SIGNED AGREEMENT.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tauber Oil Company and the Tauber Companies from any claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

13. Changes to the Site and to these terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date will be revised. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

15. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Tauber Oil Company regarding use of the Site. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or successor.
